Insoluble in water, can with methanol, ethanol, chloroform, benzene, acetone and acetate and other organic solvents miscibility. Products currently on the market is 60% trans- Decahydronaphthalene：40% Cis- Decahydronaphthalene，hennychem Can mix proportion according to customer's requirements

 

 

 

Decahydronaphthalene  Application

1.     Can be used for coating solvent.

2.     Instead of turpentine oil used for manufacturing floor wax and shoe polish.

3.     Also can be used as a solvent to extract grease, resin, wax.

4.     Enamel: can provide high gloss and good flow property.

5.     Ink: can be used as cleaning agents.

6.     Also can be used in the production of amorphous polyolefin to DVD CD, LD Laser Disk and digital video disc DVD.

7.     Can with benzene and ethanol to go into the mixture, fuel for internal combustion engine.

8.   As a special fiber solvent in production。

 

Health Hazard

Inhalation or ingestion irritates nose and throat, causes numbness, headache, vomiting; urine may become blue. Irritates eyes. Liquid de-fats skin and causes cracking and secondary infection; eczema may develop.
